Life Liners, a brand name of Stanfield’s Ltd. produces two unique Fire Fighter Protective Hoods for Fire Fighters.
 The double layer KL23 with a TPP of 31.7 is a blend of Kermel and LenzingFR. The Kermel aramid fiber provides excellent flame protection, and the LenzingFR adds not only thermal protection but breathability. Spandex is knitted into the fabric for enhanced stretch and recovery. This added feature helps the hood retain its shape and last longer.

The TP23 offers the best Thermal Protective Performance of any hood on the market. The 52.7 TPP makes it a favorite of instructors that spend a lot of their time in Flashover Simulators. The hood is triple layer in the head and utilizes the lightweight PBI/LenzingFR blend fabric for its outer two shells, and the P84 fiber with its excellent heat blocking attributes as an inner layer. The instructors that wear the hood in the simulators report never feeling the heat.
